Yo! What’s up, glad you’re here. I’m Mike, the founder of ZMIVE.com (pronounced z-mive). This site is about, connecting with others and sharing personal experiences to improve the quality of life.

What does ZMIVE mean?
It means the celebration of life.

STARTED

It began for me at a friend’s house in Los Angeles. We sat around his living room and everyone each got a chance to talk about his or her week. The general guidelines were to talk about the four areas of our life, Spirituality, Relationships, Health and Finance. Crosstalk was encouraged only if you had experience with the situation the person was having. At the end of each talk we committed to the group something we wanted to get done that week. This kept us accountable and made it more likely that we would do the task.

WHY

By having this group, everyone who stuck around, their lives, including mine have grown incredibly big and amazing. One of my buddy’s dreams was to play pro baseball and now he is. My other friend went from being a D and F student to going to Berkley with a 3.9 GPA. Another friend went from being a mischievous teen, getting into trouble a lot, to now working at a rehab full time and is going to school with a GPA of 3.7. There are many more stories like this, and because the group was so successful, so many other young people came that we had to rent a room out in a building.

I created this site in the hope of making a difference in people’s lives. The group that I attended has helped me so much that I wanted to emulate the format and spread it to as many people as possible. I felt the Internet was the best way to do that. Now we can have unlimited amount of experience to share and support to give and that is very powerful.

I hope you use ZMIVE to your full advantage, give and get all you can. I know life can get challenging sometimes and that’s why were all here…to help each other out.
